Reiki is a wonderful for of alternative therapy for deep relaxation and stress relief. Reiki is a Japanese technique based on Universal Energy. During a Reiki session the practitioner places his hands over different part of the body to restore and balance the flow of energy through the body. Reiki is an excellent tool for emotional, spiritual, and physical healing. It is an excellent pre-op and post-op method of alternative therapy to aid in the recuperation after surgery or invasive treatments such as chemotherapy or radiation. (During reiki treatments the patient is fully clothed).
